Think of the Earth having a bar magnet inside of it with a positive and a negative end. This magnet lines up almost even with the axis about which the Earth spins thus determining the north and south poles--but not quite exactly. The true north pole would be the top of the world with respect to the way the earth is spinning, the magnetic north pole would be offset this by a little bit. The magnetic north is where your compass points to. Question 3) doesn't make sense...
