I want to learn how to defend myself?

There are several types of martial arts and self defense techniques. I like taekwon do, jiu jitsu, and muay Thai the most. I would sugest you try mma (mixed martial arts). It helps a lot, and you learn attack and defense moves from several positions, in submissions, on the ground, standing, etc. Also these moves can be applied anywhere.
