What are the differences between current environment with Singapore and the United States?

I am doing a class project, and our product is an iPad and the country is Singapore. I have to compare and contrast the factors of product placement, business strategy and expected return on investment in a new country with historical and current factors of new country that will enable management to trust business case recommendations (culture,economic,legal and political systems). Also I need to explain how political, ethical and social consideration affect our recommendation.
