Are you supposed to put antibacterial ointment on new tattoos?

i got a tattoo yesterday and im not sure but i have antibacterial cream amm i supposed to use that? i bought it from walmart. the brand is Bacitracin its antibiotic ointment and i would think since a tattoo is a wound before it heals. so is it a good idea to use it or not. i got tattoo ointment to keep it moist but not antibacterial
